In a commanding showing, England clinched a further victory versus Albania, with a number of players delivering memorable performances throughout the game.

Starting Eleven

Dean Henderson Had little to do to perform in the first half but then tested from an opponent's curling effort. His sliding challenge on an Albanian attacker showed sharp anticipation. 6/10

The young full-back Another assured showing from the 20-year-old following his initial appearance versus another side. Saka failed to make the most of a gorgeous flick behind the opposing backline. His position is his to lose so soon. 7/10

The newcomer His maiden beginning for his country. A bit loose when playing out though his dangerous deliveries were a threat. A handy pace-controller available to the boss to have versus teams who drop deep. Cautioned after a reckless challenge. 6

Declan Rice Crosses from corners and set-plays were dangerous. Had freedom to roam down the left flank but was in an offside position as the pass came in front of goal. Given a deserved break on the hour mark. 6/10

The star midfielder Played in a forward position down the right while also contributed with the hard yards. Showed glimpses of brilliance but mishit a shot over. Substituted late on by a teammate, his competition, after being booked. 7/10

The winger Had the team's top opening before halftime, his shot excellently kept out from the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah holding position, he was forced to offer an outlet down the right side although his balls from wide areas varied in quality. Substituted late in the match. 6

The captain The difference-maker netting seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth finishes in an England shirt. The opener a typical opportunist's goal and the second a classy finish with his head following a clever run from his marker. Now 32, he continues to improve with the national team have every chance in the upcoming tournament when he's in the team. Eight
