A Marquee Acquisition for United The forward, with half a year remaining on her contract, is known as a consistent goalscorer for her club and the national team. Having netted over 100 goals for the German giants and found the net 54 times in 82 appearances for Germany. Her arrival will be seen as a marquee coup for the Women’s Super League side. Departure from Munich was expected since she appeared to be holding back emotions while thanking the club's fans following a win over Bayer Leverkusen this month. It was reported in December that the German women's top flight was set to lose one of its top strikers. According to reports, all the paperwork for the transfer have now been completed. Reliable Goal Threat to Strengthen United's Forward Line The experienced striker's signing is expected to provide a significant uplift to the team's forward line. Schüller has been highly reliable in front of goal in the Bundesliga. Over seven consecutive seasons, including the last term, she achieved at least a double-figures tally of league goals. She won the top scorer award in the 2021-22 season with 16 goals.
